SHOW TIMES: Youth Showmanship will begin at 7:00am. Senior show will begin 8:00am in all rings. Jr. show will start after completion of Sr. Does. The order of the show is subject to change. The Junior and Senior shows are separately sanctioned.
YOUTH SHOWMANSHIP: Open to all Youth Showpersons. Youth Showmanship will begin at 7am. To sign up for youth showmanship please be at ring #1 dressed in your show clothes with your goat at 6:45 am on Saturday, June 15. Please be on time so we can get everyone sign up and begin at 7am.
REGISTRATION: Papers can be checked in Friday evening before 9:00pm or Saturday Morning before 7:45am. Late check-in will be at the discretion of show committee, only unforeseen circumstances will be considered. Stamped duplicates will be accepted for any animals as long as stamped duplicate is a valid date and unexpired, Base Date for computing age is June 21.
A.D.G.A. rules shall govern. Only animals registered with ADGA, AGS or CGS may be shown.
ENTRY FEES: $7.00 per animal, per ring if received by June 9th. Late entry fee of $10.00 per animal, per ring will be charged for all entries received after June 9th. EMAIL entries will be accepted with payment via PayPal, PayPal address is [email protected]. Web entries submitted at newdga.weebly.com. Jr Doe Special: Enter 5 Jr. does (any breed or combination of breeds) and you can enter a 6thJr doe for FREE. Dairy Herd class entry is also FREE.
PAYMENT: PayPal payments may be made to [email protected] at PayPal. Make checks payable to NEWDGA. Checks can be mailed to NEWDGA 1550 W Columbus Ave, Cda, ID 83815. An NSF charge of an additional $25.00 will be charged for insufficient funds & showing privileges suspended until fees are paid.
PEN SPACE: Pens are limited and will be assigned as entries are received. Pens are approximately 5x5 and will accommodate 1 to 2 adult standard breed goats per pen. Dividers can be removed to enlarge the pens. Pens will be $6.00 per pen (bedding not included). This year straw will NOT be available, If you'd like to use straw please make sure to bring your own. However shavings will be available at $5.00 a bale. Also you will need to clean your pens or pay $6.00 extra per pen to have the 4H group clean them.
HEALTH CHECK: All animals will be inspected prior to check-in and owners will sign off on health at check in. Health certificates are not required. Obviously ill or contagious animals will be refused. NO abscesses in any stage allowed. Any disputes will be settled by a Vet at the owners’ expense.
BREED SPONSERS: If you would like to sponsor a breed, sponsorship is $60.00 per breed for Juniors and $60.00 per breed for Seniors. Payment can be made to newdga@hotmail via PayPal. Make checks payable to NEWDGA. Checks can be mailed to NEWDGA 1550 W Columbus Ave Cda, ID 83815. An NSF charge of an additional $25.00 will be charged for insufficient funds. Please make a note as to which breeds and age groups you are sponsoring. Breeds that need sponsored are Senior: Alpine, Lamancha, Nigerian, Nubian, Recorded Grade, Oberhasli, Sable, & AOP (Toggs, Saanen, Guernsey). Juniors: Lamancha, Nigerian, Nubian, Recorded Grade, Alpine, & AOP (Oberhasli, Toggs, Saanen, Sable, Guernsey).
LIABILITY: ADGA, NEWDGA or the Clayton Fairgrounds shall not be held liable or responsible for loss, injury, or illness to persons, animals or property in connection with this show. This show is part of the Washington State Goat Breeders Association's annual events.
PARKING/CAMPING: Parking in designated areas only. *Camping rates as follows: Dry = $10.00 per night, Electric Only (RV Park) = $25 per night, Electric & Water (RV Park) = $30 per night* Exhibitors with animals in trailers are asked to clean up their bedding / hay left on ground when departing.
CONDUCT: Any exhibitor behaving in an ill-mannered way toward their animals, other exhibitors, the Judges or show committee, will be asked to leave by the show committee.
RAFFLE: We will have some nice items for our raffle. Tickets are (1) for $.50, (20) for $5.00 or (100) for $20.00 for the miscellaneous items. Larger items will be $1 per ticket.
